Our Mission to Transform Lives with Leadership and Spiritual Growth
The story of Spirit Alive Ministries began before there was an organization, a board, or even a clear understanding of what the ministry would become.
In 2018, while seeking the Lord about my future, the name Spirit Alive Ministries came to me. At the time, there was no clear plan attached to it, so the name was simply set aside.
Several years later, the pieces began to come together.
In 2022, while I was speaking at an outdoor event, someone unexpectedly live-streamed the message on Facebook. Afterward, an invitation came to travel to Uganda for a preaching crusade. Soon after, another person—who would later become part of the ministry's leadership—shared that she believed God was prompting her to help make that trip possible. What had once been only a name was beginning to become a calling.
A Connection With Uganda
In April 2023, I traveled to Uganda for the first time with one simple purpose: to share the Word of God. What happened was much greater than expected.
Through relationships with pastors, ministry leaders, families, and communities, Uganda became more than a place to visit. A lasting relationship began to develop with the people and with the work God was opening there.
When I returned home, the vision for Spirit Alive Ministries began taking clearer shape.
The ministry would not simply be about traveling overseas to preach. It would be about building relationships, strengthening leaders, equipping believers, and helping communities develop opportunities that could continue long after a ministry trip ended.
Our dream for Uganda reaches beyond individual ministry events.
We envision communities becoming stronger spiritually, economically, and practically.
That means equipping local leaders, strengthening families, encouraging education, improving sanitation and community resources, and helping establish sustainable businesses that can create lasting sources of income.
We believe long-term transformation happens when people are given both biblical encouragement and practical opportunities to build.
Rather than creating dependence, our desire is to help develop pathways toward greater stability, dignity, stewardship, and self-sustainability.
A Ministry Built on Relationships
Spirit Alive Ministries is not built around one person traveling to another country.
It is built around relationships.
Pastors, ministry leaders, families, churches, supporters, volunteers, and community partners all play a part in what is being developed.
We believe lasting ministry happens when people work together, combining their gifts, resources, experience, and faith toward a shared purpose.
Those relationships continue to shape the direction of Spirit Alive Ministries both in the United States and Uganda.
Meeting Practical Needs
Building Sustainable Opportunity
One example of this vision is our work with the Mothers of Love Network in the Mbale area.
Spirit Alive Ministries has helped support the development of an onion wholesale business designed to create sustainable income and practical business experience.
The goal is much bigger than selling onions.
It is about helping local people develop the skills, systems, and financial foundation needed to operate a healthy business, provide for families, reinvest profits, and eventually expand opportunities for others.
Projects like this represent an important part of the future of Spirit Alive Ministries: combining compassion with empowerment and generosity with sustainability.
Why Your Support Matters
When you support Spirit Alive Ministries, you become part of something designed to reach beyond a single trip, conference, or project.
Your generosity helps equip leaders, strengthen communities, develop sustainable businesses, provide practical resources, and create opportunities for people to build toward a stronger future.
We take that responsibility seriously.
Our desire is that every investment into this ministry produces meaningful impact and contributes toward work that can continue growing long after the original gift has been given.
Building Sustainable Businesses
Spirit Alive Ministries believes lasting change includes creating opportunities for people to build sustainable sources of income. In partnership with the Mothers of Love Network in Mbale, Uganda, we helped launch an onion wholesale business designed to grow beyond short-term assistance. Through practical business training, financial accountability, and reinvesting profits, the goal is to help families strengthen their financial stability while developing a business that can grow and create opportunities for others. This is part of our larger vision—moving beyond simply meeting immediate needs toward helping communities build sustainable futures.
Our Purpose
Spirit Alive Ministries exists to help people discover their God-given purpose, become equipped to fulfill it, and build something that can continue impacting others for generations.
Our story began with a calling.
It continues through obedience, relationships, and opportunity.
And we believe some of the most important chapters are still ahead.
Building Sustainable Businesses
Walk in Purpose. Lead with Power. Transform the Nations.
Our Vision for the Future
We believe we are still near the beginning of the story.
The long-term vision of Spirit Alive Ministries is to help develop Christ-centered leaders and self-sustaining opportunities that strengthen families and communities for generations.
That includes expanding sustainable businesses, developing leadership and ministry training, improving sanitation with latrines for Uganda, supporting educational opportunities, strengthening local churches, and responding to new opportunities as relationships continue to grow.
The possibilities are truly endless.
With prayer, partnership, wise stewardship, and generosity, we believe something can be built that continues impacting lives far into the future.
