Help Us Build Safe and Accessible Latrines in Uganda

In communities throughout Eastern Uganda, many families and community members still rely on inadequate pit latrines that can present serious sanitation, safety, and accessibility challenges.

For children, elderly individuals, and people with mobility limitations, using these facilities can be especially difficult.

Spirit Alive Ministries is helping change that.

Through our Latrines for Uganda Project, we are partnering with trusted local leaders and organizations to construct improved latrine facilities designed to provide:

Safe and sanitary toilet facilities

• Durable foundations and flooring

• Proper ventilation

• Secure walls, roofing, and doors

• Raised or accessible seating for individuals with mobility challenges

• Handwashing facilities

• Locally sourced materials whenever practical

• Local labor and community involvement

This is more than a construction project.

It is an investment in health, dignity, safety, and community development.
